An abandoned asylum, cryptic locks, and corridors that would rather you stayed.

The Game
Escape Insanity plants you deep inside a long-abandoned asylum with a single goal and no easy way to reach it: get out. The lights are dead, the corridors twist back on themselves, and every door worth opening is locked behind a puzzle the building doesn't want you to solve.
It is classic Selfdefiant escape-room craft — search every room, pocket what might be useful, and piece together the codes, keys, and combinations that inch you toward the exit. The atmosphere does half the work: peeling walls, dim light, and the sense that the asylum is paying attention. The puzzles do the rest.
Why It Matters
Abandoned asylums are the setting Selfdefiant is best known for, and Escape Insanity is one of the most popular the studio has made — over 65,000 plays on Melting-Mindz and still a favorite among fans of the genre. It's a distilled example of the formula that pulled millions of players into browser escape rooms over two decades: atmosphere, fair-but-tricky puzzles, and the pull of one more locked door.
