This policy explains what information Selfdefiant Studios ("we", "us") collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers our browser games and our subscription apps such as Loregend, TrainingMaker, Magic Button Studio, and Astryke Hub. We collect only what we need to run our services, and we do not sell your personal information. Some Services publish their own more detailed policy; where one exists, it governs that Service specifically.
Our browser games save your in-game progress (things like gold, recipes, and upgrades) so you can pick up where you left off. That progress is stored in your browser on the device you are playing on. When you play on a third-party gaming platform that offers cloud saves, your progress may also be saved through that platform so it can follow your platform account. For our games, we do not ask for or collect your name, email address, or other personal identifiers; the saved data is game progress, not personal information.
When you play one of our games on a third-party platform or portal, that platform runs the page around the game and may show advertising and collect data using cookies or similar technologies according to its own privacy policy. Those practices are controlled by the platform, not by us. Please review the privacy policy of the platform you are playing on for details.
Our creator apps let you sign in and build projects, and offer paid subscriptions. For these apps we collect:
We do not require, and ask you not to submit, sensitive personal information (such as government IDs, health data, or financial account numbers) in your account profile or project content.
We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and secure your account and our services; operate the editors, publishing, and any portals or galleries; respond to support requests and send important service notices; and understand how our services are used so we can improve them.
We do not use your private projects, uploaded assets, or unpublished work to train artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models, and we do not sell or provide that content to third parties for AI training.
Paid subscriptions and purchases are processed by Stripe, a third-party payment processor. When you subscribe, your card details are entered directly with Stripe and are handled under Stripe's own privacy and security practices. We do not receive or store your full card number. We retain only limited billing records (such as your subscription tier, status, and a processor reference) needed to manage your account and meet our records obligations.
Our creator apps use cookies that are necessary to keep you signed in and to keep your session secure. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies on the creator apps. You can clear or block cookies in your browser, but doing so may prevent you from staying logged in.
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in these limited cases:
We keep your account information and content for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your personal information and unpublished content within a reasonable period, except where we must retain limited records for legal, security, or billing purposes. Deleted information may remain for a limited time in backups, logs, or caches before being removed through our normal retention processes. Deleting your account or removing published content does not automatically remove copies you previously exported, shared, embedded, or distributed elsewhere.
You can review and update your account information at any time from your account settings, and clear a game's saved progress from the game's settings or by clearing your browser storage. You may request a copy of your personal information or ask us to delete your account and associated personal data by contacting us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws; we honor valid requests to access, correct, or delete personal information.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. Data is transmitted over encrypted (HTTPS) connections, account passwords are stored only in hashed form, and account data and content are kept on access-controlled servers located in the United States. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for activity that occurs under your account.
Our games are made to be family-friendly, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children, through them. Creating an account on our creator apps requires you to be at least 13 years of age. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information improperly, contact us and we will delete it.
Selfdefiant Studios is operated from the United States, and your information is processed and stored there. If you use our services from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to and handled in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your location.
We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
